Conor McGregor has always been a big fan of watches and now has an impressive collection after becoming the most famous fighter in MMA history.
After going the distance with Max Holloway in his second UFC fight back in 2013, ‘Notorious’ pulled out a ‘solid gold pocket watch' and explained why he needs to be finishing fights.
“I’m looking to get paid here. We get looked after when we get finishes, this promotion wants finishes and that’s what I’m looking for,” McGregor said.
“These custom-made suits aren’t cheap. This solid gold pockets watch, three people died making this watch.
“I need to put people away. I need them big fights or I’m going to end up in debt pretty fast. I’m looking to hurry it along and finish every one.”
Following his speech about making money, McGregor scored five consecutive knockouts and became the biggest star in the sport when he claimed the featherweight title by taking out Jose Aldo with one shot.
More lucrative fights with Nate Diaz, UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather followed to make ‘Mystic Mac’ rich beyond his wildest dreams.
In 2021, he topped the Forbes list of rich athletes largely due to the business empire he has built for himself with the money made from fighting which has been an afterthought in recent years.

McGregor sold his stake in Proper 12 Irish Whiskey and made $150 million before investing in a slew of Dublin pubs, a Lamborghini superyacht, loads of luxury cars, and an impressive series of watches that he has recently been showing off on social media.
On Thursday, the Irishman uploaded several posts from a page called Multi Billionaire Luxury which highlighted his ‘insane multi-million dollar’ collection of watches.
McGregor owns the Jacob & Co Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette, which costs about $1.01 million and is slightly cheaper than another watch he owns called Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph, which will have set him back about $1.09 million.
However, his $2.3 million Jacob & Co Rasputin Diamond Minute Repeater actually costs more than both those watches combined and is much more expensive that the rest of his collection.
McGregor is clearly a fan of Patek Philippe watches as he has three more of them worth a combined $379,200, as well as a couple of Rolex watches that set him back about $513,000.
The $620,000 Jacob & Co Astronomia Casino watch features a roulette wheel and is certainly the most interactive of the bunch.
It’s safe to say McGregor’s bank balance continues to grow he has recently been filming his movie debut alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the Dominican Republic.
He'll soon return to the UFC for more lucrative MMA fights which means his wild watch collection is only going to get bigger in the years to come.
