Bob Crane was an American actor and radio personality, best known for his role as Colonel Robert E. Hogan on the television sitcom Hogan's Heroes. On June 29, 1978, Crane was found dead in his Scottsdale, Arizona apartment. He had been bludgeoned to death with a tripod.
