Silvija was a popular journalist, editor, tv presenter, and television personality. According to Croatian Journalists Association, she belongs to the category of tv workers who can rightfully be said to have been doyens of journalism. Luks was an active member of that association. Since high school, all the time, she was engaged in journalism.
At the age of 20, Silvija worked as a journalist, editor, and presenter at Radio Zagreb. Later, she moved to Television Zagreb. She was a reporter from Angola, then served as an author in the 1970s.
